Eji Smith

Eji Renee Smith, a vivacious woman with a beautiful smile that shined brighter than any star, leaves us unexpectedly at the age of 50 on her birthday. Nene as she was known by most also went by Renee,Kiz’Ne,and Eji. Nonetheless here titles as daughter, sister, cousin, aunty, lover and friend will never compare. Her passing may have come as a surprise to us, but she will always exist within our hearts. NeNe was a loving woman, full of humor and generosity, kind hearted, loving and had an amazing spirit. Throughout her lifetime she made many sad days into joyous memories which has left an affect on those whom she was around. In existence she left us warm and full of life and even in death her aura wraps around us. From this time forward remember her and the beautiful memories that were made when she was here. Her smile and full heart will remain in our hearts until our last days. She is accompanied in death by her Grandparents Veetie (LeRoy) Griffin, Daddy Leroy Pete Williams her sister Damita (JOJO) Fuller, her uncles Walter Griffin and Edward Martin her cousin Leon Griffin and her sister Lisa Marie Smith. She will live on by her Mother Essie,(Servando) Sotelo , Sisters Shana Michelle Smith, Denise Williams. Her brothers Deshawn Whiteley (Anesia), Marc Sotelo, Leon Pearson, and Shawn Williams. Her son Omaree Varela and her fur baby Redd, her nephew and nieces  Robert Lee, Latasha Nicole Smith (Carmen), Davidra Jewel Jackson, Deante Lucero Vaughn (Brooklyn) (Riley),Zahnte Smith, Unique Pearson, Tiyahna Smith, Amarah Smith,Tanea McCarthy . Her great nieces and nephews Emeerah, Robert Lee, and Xaivia Smith, Keymani Whiteley, and Armani Whiteley,Ta’Quan McCarthy,Tajanay McCarthy, Elijah Torres.
