Ken Monroe Jackson, 65, of Albuquerque, N.M., passed away on Monday, April 11, 2022. Ken was born to Robert and Darleen Jackson on Feb. 5, 1957, in Guymon, Oklahoma.
Ken was raised in Guymon, Oklahoma until 1969 when his family moved to Borger, Texas where they lived until 1973. Ken’s family then moved to Albuquerque, N.M. where he was a resident for 49 years.
Ken loved working with his hands, building and being creative. He enjoyed working on cars and spending time with his dogs. His greatest joys were his grandchildren and great grandchildren, who affectionately called him Papa and his daughter, Robin.
Ken was a hardworking and trusted employee. He worked as Superintendent of Operations at Promenade Shopping Center and Spain Professional Plaza for over 25 years.
Ken was predeceased by his father, Robert W. Jackson and his wife, Lisa Jackson. He is survived by his mother, Darleen Jackson, of Albuquerque, his daughter, Robin J. Anderson and husband, Adam Anderson, of Albuquerque, his sister, Nancy Chambers, of Lubbock, TX, his brother, Rob Jackson of Albuquerque and his sister, Susan Kinneer and husband, David Kinneer of Phoenix, Arizona. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Alexas Aguilar, Juliette Correa, Mikko M. Chavez, Nevaeh Sandoval, Lorenzo Vigil, Samuel Anderson and Samantha Anderson and great grandchildren Nova Cordova and Rainey Montoya, all of Albuquerque. Ken is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Services will be held on Saturday, May 21st, from 2-4 PM at Strong-Thorne Mortuary, 1100 Cole Ave. SE., Albuquerque, NM.
