Abel De Vargas Jr.

Abel De Vargas Jr. born January 13, 1944 went to be with the Lord on March 26, 2017. He was born in Chimayo, New Mexico but resided in Albuquerque, New Mexico for many years. Abel Jr. was born to Abel Sr. and Alexandra De Vargas he was the eldest of nine children-eight brothers and one sister. Abel Jr. is survived by his wife: Olivia De Vargas, children: Beverly Escobar, Billy De Vargas, Kathy Chavez, Brenda De Vargas, Tanya De Vargas and Abel De Vargas III, twelve grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. He is also survived by two grandsons Joshua Luna and Abraham De Vargas, whom he raised. Abel was a very humble man with a heart of gold. His memories and laughter will be remembered. He will truly be missed.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 31, 2017 at 10 am at God's House Church with a funeral service to follow at 11 am.
