Adelina Salcido

Adelina Salcido, born April of 1922 passed away peacefully on Monday, February 27, 2017.  Born in Belen, NM where she resided for the majority of her life.  Her love of gardening, family, and especially Dancing describe her best.  She is proceeded in death by her mother Natividad, her father, Sylvestre, Her husband Octaviano, her daughter Loretta, several brothers and sisters, most recently, her sister, Clorinda.  She is survived by her children, Margaret (Danny), Dolores (John), David (Peggy), and Marilyn (Ben), many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and a great-great grandchild.  Services are being handled by the wonderful people at Daniels Family Funeral Services.  Services will be held on Monday, March 6. Visitation will be held at St. Johns XXIII 4831 Tramway Ridge Dr. NE Albuquerque, NM 87111 9:30 am, followed by a rosary at 10:15, and mass at 11:00 am. Burial service will be Tuesday, March 7th at 9:45 am at Santa Fe National Cemetery. The family asks in lieu of flowers that donations be made in her name to Alzheimer’s Association New Mexico Chapter.
