Alicia “Sugee” Marie Walton

On August 31, 1986, Alicia Marie Walton was born to Clinton Dewayne and Mary Lee Walton in Albuquerque, New Mexico.  When Alicia was eight years old, Mary Lee Walton married Sylvester Williams on January 29, 1994.  At an early age, Alicia was baptized and became a member of Stadium Boulevard Church of Christ in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Alicia attended Zuni Elementary School, Cleveland Middle School, graduated with her high school diploma from Sandia High School in Albuquerque, New Mexico.  She also continued her education at Central New Mexico Community College.  Pertaining to Alicia’s occupation, she was previously employed as a Certified Medical Technician and most recently as a Customer Service Representative.

Alicia was a remarkably beautiful unforgettable soul, who had a unique personality, with a distinctive laugh that will never be forgotten.  She was deeply passionate about her family and friends and loved being in their presence.

Furthermore, she was an honest, caring, and enthusiastic individual who carried the incredible talent of being a good listener and gave the most encouraging and uplifting advice.  In Addition to her many positive characteristics, she was admirably strong and always spoke her mind and made sure she was heard.

Most importantly, she was an amazing auntie and deeply loved and cherished her niece, JaNaya Leanna Walton Lujan (nickname: Puddin’ Pop), and her nephew, Jayden Jerimiah Abeyta.

God called Alicia home on May 25, 2021, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, at the age of 34.  In her homegoing, she leaves behind to cherish her memory her parents: Clinton Dewayne & Beverly Walton and Mary Lee & Sylvester Williams; her sisters; Latasha Rochelle Walton, Leandra Renee Williams, Collen Renee Lee, and Courtney Nicole Walton; her brothers; Clinton Walton and Brandon Walton all from Albuquerque, NM.  She also leaves her aunts, uncles, and many cousins to treasure her memory.

She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents and other family members.
