Angel Gabriel Lopez Rivera, born on October 6, 2001, in Santa Fe, New Mexico, passed away unexpectedly on October 3, 2025, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The sudden loss of Angel leaves an indescribable void in the hearts of everyone who cherished him.

Son of Oscar Lopez-Rivera Sr and Micaela Washington. Brothers Oscar Lopez-Rivera Jr, Alec Sandvidge, Emmanuel Enriquez, Jeremiah Enriquez, Zander Lopez. Grandparents Daniel and Marcia Ronquillo, Antonio Washington, Oscar R. Lopez, Zoila Rivera. Uncle Anthony Washington and Luis Lopez-Rivera. Great aunts Barbara, Lourdes, Rosemary (Frank) Lujan, Annette Trujillo Great Uncle Juventino (Cynthia) Trujillo. Angel stood for strength and was regarded as having a heart of gold that touched everyone he met. Despite the struggles he faced his smile was always the brightest around. When he was with us, he was the life of the party and the little brother to us all.

Family and friends are invited to gather to celebrate Angel's life and share their fondest memories. A visitation will be held on October 17, 2025, at Strong Thorne Mortuary, located at 1100 Coal Ave SE, Albuquerque, NM, from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM. Following the visitation, a funeral service will take place at the same location, starting at 11:00 AM and concluding at 12:00 PM.
