Avelardo “Gabe” Torres, 73, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away peacefully on October 1, 2025.
Born and raised in Albuquerque, NM, Gabe was one of three children born to Cesario Torres of Lubbock, Texas, and Rose Belgara, originally from Mexico City, Mexico, who preceded him in death.
Gabe proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army.
He is survived by his daughter, Leanna Allen; grandson, Paul Aguiluz; and many close friends, family, and members of his community.
