Barbara Treseder

Barbara T. (Bobbi) Treseder, 84, passed away October 6, 2017.  She was born in Salt Lake City, UT on October 9, 1932, the youngest of four girls born to Robert and Anne Timms. Barbara, in her youth was a natural athlete, competing in giant slalom racing over the mountains of Utah.  In her following years, she and her family pursued her passion for American Saddlebred horses and successfully showed throughout the US.  After 25 years of service with the City of Albuquerque, Barbara retired and continued showing horses her remaining years. She was preceded in death by her husband Glen and son Jeff.  Barbara is survived by her oldest sister, Ellen Cline, children Carri and Chuck Hammond, Julie and Jack Cadogan, Brad and Valerie Treseder, and Lori Treseder and Joe Sheredy; 23 grand and great grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, October 10, 2017, Strong-Thorne Chapel, 1100 Coal Ave SE, Albuquerque.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Barbara's honor to the American Heart Association.
