Albuquerque

In Loving Memory of Criselda Saavedra January 7th, 1935 - February 2nd, 2026, age 91.

Criselda was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and matriarch whose life was defined by God, love, resilience, and devotion to her family. She was a lifelong resident of New Mexico that was blessed with her having 12 children.

Criselda’s faith in God and her religion guided her life. She was very involved serving the community through her church. Her smile would light up a room and just being in her presence could turn your mood around. She was the kindest, sweetest, most giving person you would ever meet. Her strength and positive attitude was inspiring to all that knew her. She had a passion for cooking and always wanted to feed everyone. If you showed up to her house you better be prepared to eat something even if you were not hungry. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with family. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her.

Criselda is survived by her children, Anthony Aragon, Veronica & Rick Gutierrez, Debbie & John Lopez, Lisa & Benny Baca, Grace & Paul Aragon, Jimmy & Debra Aragon, Mary & Johnny Vigil, Nabor Joseph & Renee Aragon, and Ricky Aragon. Along with 27 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents Carlos and Altagracia Gallegos, husbands Antonio Aragon and Miguel Calo Saavedra, children Charles Aragon, Frank Aragon, and Raymie Chavez, grandchildren Jacqueline Aragon, Eddie Chavez, and Christopher Aragon and siblings Nabor, Frances, Ester, Charlotte, Eleanor, Ciacio and baby Criselda.
