David T. Wilkins

Born February 8th 1931 lived to the age of 95 and passed peacefully on April 7th 2026. He was born in Shreveport, LA. He and his mother moved to Albuquerque when David was 8. A proud graduate of Albuquerque High and UNM. After high school he proudly joined the Navy as a radio man. He went on to work in television spending time working at both KGGM and PBS as a production manager and sometimes news directorial KKOB. David was extremely creative he loved to travel and never stopped learning new things. Survived by his children Sydny Little and husband Frank Little, Brian Wilkins and wife Robyn Wilkins, Steven Wilkins and wife Sandra, his daughter Amy Wilkins, also survived by his grandchildren Christina, Stephanie, Chelsea, John, Holly, Boston, Dustin, Katherine and Lillian. He will be missed and loved by his great grandchildren and by his great great grandson.
