Deborah Lynne Harris-Croley, 60, of Los Lunas, New Mexico passed away peacefully in her home with her husband by her side on Monday, April 27th, 2015. Mrs. Harris-Croley was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico on November 10th, 1954 to Tom and Barbara Harris and was later adopted by Stanley Harris and grew up in Grants, NM before moving to Albuquerque in about 1984 and later settled in Los Lunas, New Mexico 1n 1987. Mrs. Harris-Croley was employed by the State of New Mexico as a professional caregiver and had cared for all of her immediate family as well. She cared for her Grandmother, her Mother and her Grandfather until they passed away in their homes, as they desired. She graduated at Grants high school and later attended UNM-Valencia County where she studied art, music, and computer-aided graphics and earned her CNA as she maintained a 4.0 GPA. Deborah was with her husband for over forty years and she was a pleasure to everyone that she met. She had many interests including the outdoors and working in her yard. She also loved fishing and working with her many animals, including her horse, her Chihuahuas and even wild birds. She also loved gardening and collecting artifacts, antiques and collecting classic and muscle cars with her husband and friends. Mrs. Harris-Croley is survived by; her husband, Gary Croley, her brother, Tom Harris, his ex-wife, Patricia and their children, Vivian and Barbie and their grandchildren of Texas; her niece, Tyrayl Deborah Harris of Colorado; her cousin, Terry and her husband Chris Lunsford of Los Lunas, NM; and numerous other family and long time good friends. Mrs. Harris-Croley was preceded in death by her Grandparents, E.S. and Vivian Harris; her Grandparents Jim and Loraine Mckay; her Mother and Father Barbara and Tom Harris; her adoptive Father, Stanley Harris and several Aunts, Uncles and good friends. Family and friends will be provided with the arrangements for a graveside service and a memorial to Mrs. Deborah Lynne Harris-Croley. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to: St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
