Dolores "Dolly" R. Armijo

Dolores “Dolly” Armijo, a long time Albuquerque resident passed away at home at the age of 92. She is survived by her children, Donna, Donald, Ronald, Arnold, Vonna, Christopher, Cynthia and Sheila. Our beloved mom was born in Casa Colorado a small town near Belen, her parents Tranqulino and Antonio had 5 other children and moved to Albuquerque when Dolores was a small child. At the young age of 8 she sang on stage at the KIMO theatre where she would sing “you are my sunshine” which would be broadcast over the radio for her parents to hear. Dolores met a charming handsome young man Orlando Samuel Armijo, not long after falling in love they married and had 9 children 5 girls and 4 boys, blessed with 18 Grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 1 great, great granddaughter. Dolores had an amazing sense of humor, she was a fan of Western TV shows/movies and had a deep relationship with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Mommy you were so loved and will be truly missed, love always your children.
