Gregorio Fernandez

Gregorio G. Fernandez was born in Gallup, NM on April 28, 1927 to Gregorio and Salvadora Milan Fernandez. Upon graduation from high school Greg signed up with the US Army and served in the 3196th Signal Service Company. He served in Italy receiving Army Commendation Ribbon and World War II Victory Medal. Following his Army service, Greg graduated from the University of Colorado - Boulder with  Mechanical Engineering Degree and worked throughout the Southwest and Saudi Arabia as a District Manager with Haliburton Oil as one of their top petroleum engineers. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie; daughter, Sadie; son, Gordon; siblings, Joe J. Fernandez of Laguna, NM, Sadie Rhoades, of Albuquerque, NM, and Eleanor Fernandez-Perking, of Glenville, GA. Greg wishes to express his deepest thanks to Carefree Living caregivers and Dr. Qaseem for all of the "TLC." A Graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, April 23, 2015 at Fairview Memorial Park, 700 Yale Ave SE, Albuquerque.
