Guadalupe Guzman

Guadalupe "Pokey" Cruz Guzman was born on October 4, 1952. She passed on to her heavenly home on October 21, 2025 at the age of 73 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law: Tina Maria DeLopez and Patrick DeLopez; grandsons: Ryan Zackory O'Keeffe and Patrick Tyler DeLopez; brother: Juan C. Guzman; sister: Dolores C. Guzman; and nieces: Doreen Quintanilla and Julie Quintanilla.

She is predeceased by her parents: Jesus Concepcion Guzman and Julita Cruz Guzman; grandparents: Francisco Guzman and Maria Concepcion Guzman; Joaquin Bae Cruz and Guadalupe Sablan Cruz; brothers: Joaquin C. Guzman and fiancé Maria L. Salas, Francisco C. Guzman, and Joseph C. Guzman; sister and spouse: Maria Guzman Aguon and Francisco Quinata Aguon; and niece: Bernadette Marie Guzman Aguon-Green.

There will be a viewing on Tuesday, the 28th of October, followed by her cremation. She will go home to Alabama where her life and love for family and friends will be celebrated and remembered at a later date. She is and will continue to be greatly missed and loved by all those that she brought into her circle and allowed to see the angel that God created and has now called home.
