Howard Thomas

Howard John Thomas “John D” “Big John” was born August 12, 1931 in Fairfield, Texas to the parents or Robbie and Erzie Thomas.
He was preceded in death by his wife Joyce Marie, his father, mother, and four brothers, two sisters; May and Helen.
He worked in road construction early in his career, and then worked at White Sands Missile Range, and ended his career as owner of Thomas Trucking.
He loved to buy and sell any and everything.
He is survived by one son; Howard Jr. (Kathy), four daughters; Elnora (Bobby), Brenda (Jimmy Jr.), Dinah, and Rena (Ollie), two sisters; Nettie and Althea, fourteen grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and many other relatives, and friends.

Visitation will be held Thursday September  22, 6:00 pm. Funeral Service will be held Friday September 23, 2016, 11:00 am.  Both services will be held at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, 1509 Edith SE.
