Celebration of Life for James S. McCoy

James McCoy known to his stepfamily and friends as Mac. James was born in Little Rock Arkansas and at the early age his family moved to Pixley California. James was born to father James McCoy and mother Irene Smith. James joined the Air Force where he served twenty years. He was decorated with metal for small Arms Marksmanship, Vietnam Service Metal and Military Airlift Command. After his Military Retirement he went to work for the post office where he worked several years until he retired for the second time. James enjoyed traveling with his wife Marian. He attended classes at CNM where he took photography and on their travels, took many pictures, his specialty was a black and whites. He loved barbecuing and had special grills and smokers on his back patio. He taught his neighbors and friends to Barbecue and shared his special sauce, but not the secret ingredients. He loved watching sports, and his favorite teams were the 49ers and the San Francisco Giants.

 James is survived by his son William McCoy, His daughter Olivia Taylor and husband, grandchildren: Kendall McCoy, Kimberly McCoy, William McCoy Jr, Nicholas Taylor, and Omega Taylor. His stepdaughters Constance Kent, Joanna Erni, Kathryn Miller (husband Terry). Stepson’s Michael Jordan, and Stephen Jordan (Megan). Step grandchildren: Terrill Johnson, Tracy Hill, Marcus Fisher, George Fisher, Kevin Thompson (Krista), Tenisha Erni, Natanya Erni and Amber Erni. Surviving siblings: sisters: Irene White, Ollie Majors, and Deborah Smith. Brothers: Roy Velyines and Mark Smith

We will all miss Mac as he had a vivacious personality.
