John F. Pennington, 98, passed away Monday, February 6, 2017, in Covington Kentucky. John was a longtime member of Grant Chapel AME Church. He was employed with Strong-Thorne funeral home for many of years before his retirement in 2010.
Services for him will be held, Wednesday, February 15, 2016, 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Strong-Thorne, 1100 Coal Ave SE. The Funeral Service will be held Thursday, February 16, 2017, 10:00 AM at Grant Chapel AME Church, 7920 Claremont NE. He will be laid to rest on the same day at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
