In Loving Memory of Juanita D. Martinez (aka) Jenny

Juanita Dalton Martinez passed away peacefully on April 15, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. Born in La Cueva (Glorita), NM to James and Estefanita Dalton. She was a proud graduate of Santa Fe High School class of 1954. She later moved to Albuquerque to raise her family.

Juanita married Pete Martinez in 1957 to 1970, following his passing she found companionship with Gilbert L Martinez until his passing in 1999.

She entered into eternal life and will be greeted by those whose preceded her in death. Her parents James S Dalton, and Estefanita Urban Dalton. Her sons Freddie and Frankie Martinez. Her partner in life Gilbert L Martinez. Her siblings Ramona Hands, Dan , Arthur, Alfredo, and David Dalton, and sister Nellie Armijo. Her grandchildren Rabon, Rebekah Martinez, Amy Ortiz, and Vicente Sena.

Juanita raised eight children listed below with their spouses, her memory will live on in the hearts of her children.

-Lourdes (Frank) Ortiz

-Josephine (Gino) Gonzales

-Mabel Martinez

-Cruz (Leah) Martinez

-Freddie Martinez (1968-2003)

-Frankie Martinez (1971-2003)

-Gilbert Jude Martinez

Along with grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Survived by her siblings who loved and shared in her life are Lenora (William) Cordova, Hermino (Maria) Dalton, Virginia Otero (Bruce), Jessie and Richard Dalton.

Honorary Pallbearers are the grandchildren and great grandchildren.
