Kabory LeBron Metcalfe

Kabory LeBron Metcalfe was born to Cheryl Oneta Metcalfe and Brian Carlos Jones on June 7th, 1979. He was called home to be with the Lord on September 6th, 2023.

Kabory was baptized at the Church of Christ in Clovis, NM at the age of 13 and continued in the faith until his ascension to Heaven. As a child, Kabory was always the life of the party. His popularity and ability to make friends, made his mother’s home the prime hangout spot for many young people over the years. Kabory’s ability to make friends followed him into adulthood, where he would meet people from various walks of life.

Kabory was also a skilled musician. This tenacity for music inspired him to explore Music Production during his time as a student at Central New Mexico Community College.

Kabory’s spirit and legacy will be carried on by his loving Mother, Cheryl Oneta Metcalfe; Father, Brian Carlos Jones; Grandmother, Margorie Jones; Children, Quadry Travon Metcalfe, Leijayna Metcalfe, Demetrius Raekwon Greathouse, Ijayla Leora Zhanesha Metcalfe, & Kyannaje Metcalfe; Grandchildren Kah’Marii Jae’Lee Metcalfe, Yaz’min Nirel Metcalfe, J’Omari Nunez, and J’Oziah Nunez. Siblings, (Brother) Steve Leon Anthony II, & his children Jyrine Davis, Khyah Anthony, Kezhiah Anthony, & Khyiir Anthony, (Sister) Da’keeon Jo Neill Anthony, Nirel Strickland, Devine Strickland, & Navaeh Strickland; (Sister) Saybra Chanel Anthony; Aunts & Uncles, Kendal Lynn Jones, Keeley Jones, Brent Randall Jones, Gwendolyn Manning-Metcalfe Osugi, Barbara Sue Parks, and a host of cousins, and friends.

Kabory was charismatic, caring, and very sociable. Family & friends will always remember Kabory’s loving smile. His kind spirit and vibrant personality will be cherished in our hearts forever.

As he meets his Savior in Heaven, he is reunited with his grandmother, Jo Thelma Metcalfe, Grandfather on his mother’s side Sherman James Metcalfe, Grandfather on his father’s side John Randall Jones, Aunt, Dorothy Shinn, his favorite Uncle, Joseph Miller Metcalfe, and Niece, Noelle Strickland.
