Katherine Taylor

Age 82, was called home to our Heavenly Father on Wednesday, April 22, 2015. She was born on September 3, 1932 in Fort Wayne, IN, the daughter of Lester and Virginia (David) Clay. A resident of New Mexico since 1953, living in Albuquerque and Los Alamos. Katherine worked for Sparton Technology for 22 years, as an assembler and as a Supervisor of the Research and Development Department and then for five years as the Receptionist for the Coors Road Plant. She retired in April of 1993. Katherine was active in the Sierra Vista Civitan Club from 1989 thru 1994 and served as President from 1991-1992. She was voted the District Outstanding President out of 28 clubs. She has been a Geneaologist since 1962, teaching as well as doing research. She was a devoted wife, loving mother and the greatest gift God has given us. She was an active and faithful member of the Riverside Church of Christ. She touched so many lives and will be greatly missed. Katherine is survived by her husband of 31 years, Herbert Carl Taylor, of Albuquerque, NM; three daughters, Deborah Kay Gaul (Bob Erbisch) of Fruita, CO, Vickie Ann (Michael) Lynch of Lewisville, TX, and Rita Sue (Kurtis Lee) Phagan of Albuquerque, NM; one stepson, James Carl (Debra) Taylor, of Albuquerque, NM; one stepdaughter, Cynthia Kasper, of Redding, CA; one grandson, Ryan Garrett Lynch of TX; three granddaughters, Randi Lee (Royce) Newsom of Ozark, MO, Ariel LeAnn Lynch of TX; and Deandra Michelle (Michael) Arellano of Tijeras, NM; great-grandchildren, Kaitlin Elizabeth Newsom and Riley Clayton Newsom of Ozark, MO,  and Aaron Lee and Kayla Marie Arellano of Tijeras, NM, and Harper Katherine Lynch of TX. A Memorial Service will be held at 6:00 PM on Monday, April 27, 2015 at Riverside Church of Christ, 3100 La Orilla Rd NW, Albuquerque, NM with Pastor Mark McKenzie presiding.
