Leon Patrick Armijo, lifelong resident of Albuquerque, passed away on September 14, 2026. He is survived by his sister, Lorraine Bratt and her husband, David Thomas, Sr.; brother, Dewey Joseph Mann and his wife, Charlotte; many nieces, nephews and extended family members. Leon was preceded in death by his parents, Jose Ramon and Stefany Armijo and his brothers Eddie Mann and Philip Mann.

Leon was a graduate of St. Mary’s in Albuquerque and earned a bachelor’s degree in education from the University of New Mexico. After college he served in the U.S. Navy, both active duty and in the Navy Reserves. Following his service in the Navy Leon worked for the U.S. Postal Service. He retired from the Postal Service after many years of delivering mail on foot.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
