Lilly Armijo, 90, passed away on Sunday, September 10, 2017. She was born on December 27, 1926 in Los Padillas, NM to Severo and Manuelita (Moraga) Padilla. She was proud to be Harvey Girl. She will be remembered for her love for her family. She truly enjoyed cooking and taking care of her precious family.
Lilly was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, John James Armijo, in 2015; and son, Danny Armijo in 2016. She is survived by her daughter, Judy A. Montanes, of Albuquerque, NM; grandchildren, Judy Gutierrez and husband, Dave, and Matthew Montanes; great-grandchildren, Nikalah Gutierrez, Blake Montanes and Alexah Montanes; and sisters, Carla Nieto and Annie Mirabal.
The Rosary will be recited at 10:15 AM with the Mass of Christian Burial and Resurrection to be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Thursday, September 14, 2017 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5415 Fortuna NW, Albuquerque. Interment will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
