IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Marbella M.
Henry
August 23, 1939 – December 25, 2025
Marbella Maria Henry, a cherished matriarch and guiding light to her family, peacefully entered eternal rest on December 25, 2025, at the age of 86. Born on August 23, 1939, in Questa, New Mexico, Marbella lived a life defined by love, resilience, and unwavering faith. Her presence was a source of strength and comfort to all who knew her.
Marbella’s greatest joy was her family. She devoted her life to nurturing generations, instilling values of compassion, hard work, and unity. Known for her generous heart and tireless hands, she created a home filled with warmth, laughter, and unconditional love. Her wisdom and grace touched countless lives, leaving an indelible mark on everyone fortunate enough to share in her journey.
A Life Full of Love and Joy
Marbella was passionate about sports and music. She loved cheering for the Kansas City Chiefs and the Oklahoma Sooners, and attending games was one of her favorite pastimes. Her excitement during football season was contagious, and family gatherings often revolved around watching her beloved teams play.
Music was another cornerstone of her life. Marbella adored dancing and singing, and her voice would fill the room with joy. She was a devoted listener of 89.1 FM, and her love for music created countless memories for her family. One song that all her grandchildren remember her singing with heartfelt emotion is “Flor de las Flores” a melody that will forever echo in their hearts.
Her Spirit and Personality
“My Grandma was a feisty woman you could say that’s where all her granddaughters get it from. She was a very loving person who made sure to let you know how much she loved and cared for you. She liked to partake in a margarita or a shot of tequila during family gatherings, always bringing laughter and joy to the room.”
Marbella wore many hats throughout her life: wife, mother, farmer, sister, aunt, best friend, caregiver, and grandmother. Each role she embraced with grace and strength, leaving behind a legacy of love and resilience.
She was preceded in death by beloved family members Corrine Watson, Lulu Garcia, Orlando Garcia, Louie Garcia, Nella Manley, and Lisa Lundvall Henry. Marbella’s legacy continues through her devoted children:
• Jose Henry
• Timothy Henry
• Juan Carlos Henry
• Theresa Henry-Reese
She also leaves behind 20 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren, each a testament to her enduring love and influence.
Her Legacy
Marbella will be remembered for her faith, her laughter, and her ability to make everyone feel at home. Her life was a beautiful example of selflessness and devotion, and her memory will live on in the hearts of those she loved.
A Family Tribute
“God saw that you were getting tired, and a cure was not to be. So He put His arms around you and whispered, ‘Come to Me.’ A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove He only takes the best”.
