Maria "Lupe" Aldaz

Maria "Lupe" Aldaz, age 59, of Belen, NM passed away at home on Sunday, May 27, 2018.

Lupe was born in Zamora, Michoacán, Mexico. She has lived in Albuquerque and later in Belen, NM. She worked as a housekeeper at Oak Tree Inn and loved her job. She also loved to cook for everyone she knew and loved and always wanted her loved ones around her. In addition, she enjoyed traveling and loved to drive everywhere. Lupe was a very friendly person always smiling. She enjoyed wearing the color white.

Lupe is survived by her husband Alberto Mendez whom she loved very much, two brothers both from Albuquerque - Jesus and wife Maria & family, Leonardo and wife Flor & their four children, sisters Carmen and husband Jose Luis & family, Lucia & family, Rosemary Romero & family, and many nieces, nephews, friends and one Godson - Wulises Alarcon whom she loved very much.

She is preceded in death by her Mother - Beatriz Guerrero, her Father - Ignacio Aldraz, and her uncle Raul Guerrero whom she loved very much.
