Marie Garcia

Marie Soveida (Aunt Ada),89, went to be with our Lord on March 30, 2016. She was born in Arroyo Hondo, NM and a resident of Albuquerque for 44 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents Simes and Genoveva Vigil; her brothers, Paul, Serafin, and Gasper and her sister, Connie. She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Pablo Garcia, Jr.; sister, Terry Zamora; brother, Donald (Faby) Vigil; her children, Toby (Christine), Terrylynn (John), Thomas and Genevieve; grandchildren, Dominique, Alyssa (Francisco), Jonathon, Stephanie, and Matthew; great-grandchildren, Sovaida, Andalecio, and Anastacio.
Ada was a devoted and loving military wife and mother. She always had an open door to all family and friends and never turned anyone away. Her unconditional love and genuine smile will forever be remembered and missed by everyone touched by her light.
A Viewing and Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at Queen of Heaven Church, 5311 Phoenix Ave NE. Albuquerque. Rosary following at 7:00 PM. The Celebration of the Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:30 AM on April 7, 2016 at Holy Ghost Church, 833 Ave SE, Albuquerque followed by interment at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 1:30 PM. In the spirit of Ada's wishes, please wear your brightly colored clothing.
