Marlene Ruth Samuels

Marlene Ruth Samuels, 77, passed away peacefully and surrounded by family on April 19th, 2023.

Marlene was a kind, compassionate and selfless person who enjoyed spending time with her family and was known for her generosity, warmth and sense of humor. Along with her strong devotion to Jesus Christ, Marlene was also a devoted mother of two daughters and a loving grandmother to five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Marlene is predeceased by her parents, Ruth and Howard Thompson Sr., as well as her four siblings, Howard Thompson Jr., Mary Ann McConic, Robert Thompson, and Myrna Thomas.

She is survived by daughter Diane Samuels and her partner, Joseph Weston Sr., daughter Darla Campos and her spouse, Paul Campos, along with grandchildren: Nicole, Ryan, Ginger, Jenna and Evan, and her great-grandchildren: Elijah, Naomi, Tiernan and Courtney, as well as many other loving family and friends.

A funeral service will be held on May 5th, 2023 at Strong-Thorne Mortuary. Family and friends are invited to attend.
