Marlo Patterson

Marlo Christopher Patterson, 42, loving father, son, brother and uncle.  He started his adult life by working for the Albuquerque Public Schools as a Technician in maintenance and operations. He died unexpectedly on March 25, 2021 in Albuquerque, NM.

Marlo is survived by his loving mother and father, Kathy and Harvey Dawson,  his children, Nathaniel, Christopher and Jasmine.  His brother, Michael & Kristy, and his sister Trina & Jared.  Also his nieces and nephews: Brianna, Devin, Donovan and Aleah.  His uncles Rodney, John, and Stuart, aunts Penny, Bridgett, and Diane (and Mike) and many cousins and extended family.  He is proceeded in death by his Nana and Papa, Doris & John Boedeker, his grandparents Ethel & Morris Johnson and Amon Patterson; Uncles Tommy, Kenny, and Duncan and his aunt Vickie.

Marlo loved the Dallas Cowboys, fishing, playing video games and being with friends and family, but he loved his children most of all.  He had a smile and infectious laugh that could light up a room.  He was always a giving and loving person from a young age.  He was always very protective of his mother and sister and giving of himself till the end by helping 3 lives through organ donation. He will be deeply missed by all of his family, friends and those who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Visitation will be on March 31st from 6pm - 8pm at Strong Thorne Mortuary. Funeral Services will be held on April 1st 12pm at Strong Thorne Mortuary.

Pallbearers are Michael Patterson, Nathaniel Patterson, Devin Crouse, Donovan Patterson, Jared Crouse and Harvey Dawson.

Honorary Pallbearers are Christopher Patterson, Rodney Patterson, Jermaine Patterson.
