Millie Candelaria

Millie Candelaria, 82, was called home to our Lord and Savior on October 10, 2017. She was born on March 10, 1935 in Albuquerque, NM. She will be remembered for her feisty, loving and caring ways. Her arms were always wide open to everyone. Her favorite holiday was Halloween. Millie enjoyed gardening, cooking and watching Judge Judy. Her greatest joy came from showering her family with love and affection.

Millie was preceded in death by her mother, Rufina Herrera; grandchild, Julian Torres; and siblings, Annie Perea and Pete Anaya. She is survived by her children, Robert (Michelle) Candelaria, Joseph (Angie) Candelaria, Patrick (Grace) Candelaria, Paul Candelaria, Bernadette Candelaria, Lawrence Candelaria, Theresa (David) Candelaria-Jones, Matt Candelaria and Rudy Tenorio; 23 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.

The Rosary will be recited at 10:00 AM with the Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Friday, October 20, 2017 at San Jose de Los Duranes Mission Church, 2120 Los Luceros Rd NW, Albuquerque. Interment will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Joseph Candelaria, Jr, Patrick Candelaria, Jr, Vicente Candelaria, Dominic Gomez, Fernando Jimenez, and Alejandro Ramos. Honorary Pallbearers will be Brian Candelaria and Patrick Candelaria, III.
