Pauline Hughes

Hughes, Pauline C. (Granny) Age 95, passed away peacefully in her home on November 6, 2014 with her loving family by her side. Pauline was born on August 17, 1919 to Raymond and Eva Randall in Albuquerque, NM.   She was preceded in death by her two husbands, Buster Caldwell and Ivan Hughes, daughters, Bertha Mae Bullington and Marilyn Joyce Caldwell, son Raymond Lew Caldwell, great grandson Lonnie Bullington, sisters, Daisy, Marjorie, Ida, and Eva Rae, and brothers, Raymond and Charlie.  She is survived by her son Leonard (Coyla) Caldwell of Los Ranchos, NM, daughters June Humphreys of Colorado Springs, CO, and Judy Navalesi of San Diego, CA, step daughter Peggy (Doy) Wilson of Forest Hill, CA, and step son John (Linda) Hughes of Polson, MT. Seventeen grandchildren, thirty great grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren, brothers, Willard Randall and Perry (Caroline) Randall, numerous nieces and nephews and many friends.  Pauline spent many years working for the APS cafeterias, was a member of the Northdale Baptist Church, and enjoyed life to the fullest.  She loved feeding the birds in her back yard, gardening, continually adding to her vast collection of earrings and most of all shopping!  Visitation will take place Monday, November 10, 2014, from 4:00 pm-7:00 pm at Strong-Thorne Chapel, 1100 Coal Ave SE, Albuquerque.  Graveside Services will be held on Tuesday,  November 11, 2014 at Sunset Memorial Park at 11:00am.  Pallbearers will be Wess  Caldwell, Trent Caldwell, Shelton Caldwell, Brandon Caldwell, Clint  Caldwell, Ben Northcutt.  Honorary pallbearers are Charles Barreras, Ty Caldwell, Cody  Moon.  Pauline will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
