Ramona F. Aguilar, 79, was called home to our Lord and Savior on Wednesday, July 29, 2015, with her loving family by her side. She was born on April 2, 1936 in Clovis, NM to Martha Baca and Pablo Martinez. She attended Our Lady of Guadalupe School in Clovis. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, William M. Aguilar; mother, Martha Baca; father, Pablo Martinez; sister, Mary Barela; and brother, Manuel Hernandez. She is survived by her children: William Anthony Aguilar of Rio Rancho, NM, Carmen Castillo, Francis Aguilar, Dolores Carlo, Anna Mathews, and Reinaldo J. Aguilar, all of Albuquerque, NM; 16 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; godson, Fred Sena; goddaughter, Ingrid Martinez; many other family members and friends; and three pets: Jack, Scrappy, and Razcal. She was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening, sewing, baking and crafts and was a longtime parishoner at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church. Mrs. Aguilar believed in helping others as much as possible and supported Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital. Viewing and Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM until the Rosary is recited at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at Strong-Thorne Chapel, 1100 Coal Ave SE, Albuquerque. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Thursday, August 6, 2015 at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church, 811 Guaymas Pl NE, Albuquerque, with Fr. Cimino, celebrant.
