Robert Gonzales

Our loving husband, father, brother, and friend passed away unexpectedly in the early morning hours of April 21st, 2015.  Robert “Pete” Gonzales was taken too soon from our lives but will forever be in our hearts. There are no words to describe the overwhelming grief, immense pain, and sorrow we are enduring in his senseless and unfortunate departure from our lives.  Robert was born on February 2, 1947 to Pete and Matilda Gonzales and with the exception of an Army tour in Viet Nam; he spent his entire life living in his beloved East Mountains.  He loved skiing, fishing, camping, carpentry, and many wonderful travel trips with his family, but he loved being home in New Mexico.  He was healthy, happy, but unfortunately passed before his time.  He is survived by his bride of 43 years, Allison, and his two very cherished twin daughters and their spouses: Jennifer and Chris, and Jessica and Ryan.  He is also survived by his brothers, his sisters, in-laws, numerous nieces and nephews: and four furry grand puppies. A very special thank you to everyone who helped at the scene of the accident. Most importantly, thank you for all your thoughts and prayers.  A Memorial Celebration of Robert's life will be held on May 9th, 2015 at 1:00 PM at the family home in the East Mountains.
