Roy Chenoweth, 76, loving father and grandfather passed away on Wednesday, June 1, 2016. He was born on July 19, 1939 to Archie Paul and Effie (Trusty) Chenoweth of Albuquerque, NM and spent most of his life in the area. He proudly served in the US Army, worked for the US Forest Service in Idaho, yet most will remember his 40 years in food sales with Zanios and Sexton. In his free time, Mr. Chenoweth enjoyed golfing, fishing, playing cards and photography. He was preceded in death by his parents. Mr. Chenoweth is survived by his children: Paul Chenoweth and his wife, Lorraine, of Bosque Farms, NM and Linda Orr and her husband, Russel, of Belen, NM; grandchildren: Michael, Monica, Patrick and Jessica Chenoweth, and Colleen and Danelle Gallegos; brother, David Chenoweth and his wife, Ellen, of Springfield, VA; sister, Ruth Morris of Albuquerque, NM; former wife who he was married to for 35 years, Kathleen Chenoweth; and several nieces and nephews.   Viewing and Visitation will be held from 12:00 P.M. until 1:00 P.M. with the Rosary to be recited at 1:00 P.M. followed by the Funeral Service on Monday, June 6, 2016 at Strong-Thorne Chapel, 1100 Coal Ave SE, Albuquerque.
