Stephen Horner
September 15, 1930 — April 5, 2017
Stephen J. Horner, a resident of Albuquerque for 39 years, passed away on April 5, 2017 at the age of 86. Married to his wife Rose and Best friend until her passing in 1998, and are now together.
He is survived by his sons, John and wife, Roseann of Bayport, NY, and Robert and wife, Gloria of Corona Hills, CA; daughter, Linda Waters of Albuquerque; granddaughter, Stephanie and husband Bradley; grandsons, Eddie, John Jr., and Dylan Waters; great-grandsons, Jazzy, Dakota, Anthony, and Alexander.
A Rosary/Parastas will be held on Monday, April 10, 2017 at 7:00 pm at Strong-Thorne Chapel 1100 Coal Ave SE.
A Funeral with Presanctified Liturgy will be held on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at 11:00 am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Byzantine Catholic Church.
Inurnment will be held at a later date at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to his church, Our Lady of Perpetual Help Byzantine Catholic Church, 1837 Alvarado Drive NE, Albuquerque.
Steve was dearly loved and we trust that God will embrace him as we did. May Steve’s memory be eternal.
