Terry Dupree Goodwin

Terry Dupree Goodwin born May 9th 1967 in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and was received in the arms of Jesus on May 5th, 2025. He was a cherished son, beloved brother and will be remembered for his kind spirit and warm relationships with family and friends.

Terry Graduated from Albuquerque High School in 1985 and went on to serve in the United States Army from 1988 to 1992 where he served in the Gulf War and received several awards including the Army Service Ribbon, National Defense Service Medal, Army lapel Button, Southwest Asia Service Medal with 2 bronze service stars, Army Good Conduct Medalist Award and an Overseas Service Ribbon. After his time in the service, Terry had a successful career as a Corrections Officer for the City of Albuquerque where he retired.

He is survived by his mother, Marian Goodwin, Father, Johnny Goodwin, Brother Charles Goodwin and a host of family members and friends. Terry’s legacy of service, love and dedication to family and faith will be remembered by all who were fortunate enough to know him. His spirit will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.

A funeral service to honor Terry’s life will be held on Friday May 16th, 2025 11:00 am at Strong Thorn Mortuary 1100 Coal Ave SE, Albuquerque, NM 87106
