Toyo Jeanae Clayton

Toyo Clayton, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and dear friend, entered heaven on Thursday, February 5, 2026.

Toyo was preceded in death by her husband of 63years, Clay Clayton. She is survived by her daughters, Diann O’Neill, and Paula Rodriguez and her husband, Richie; grandkids, Melony Cable and Nicholas Rodriguez; great-grandkids, Kaylen and Kieran Cable, Jaxon Rodriguez and Minka Rodriguez, along with extended family members, friends and her church family.

Among many accomplishments and interests Toyo had a great talent for baking, Family gatherings just won’t be the same without her famous rum cake and chocolate pie. Her family is comforted knowing her deep devotion to God has provided her with peaceful rest. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. at Trinity @ the Marketplace 2520 Chama St NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110. Burial will follow at Sandia Memory Gardens
