Trinidad was the beloved daughter of Marcelino and Catherine Sanchez, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her former husband, Tony Lopez; her brothers, Anthony Sanchez and Marcelino Sanchez; and her beloved goddaughter, Mary Silva.
She leaves behind her loving daughter, Barbara Medina, and her cherished granddaughter, Melody Medina. Trinidad was blessed to share her early years of family life with her first husband, Inocensio Vargas Jr., the father of her beloved daughter, Barbara. She is also survived by her sisters, Phyllis Silva, Marie and Daniel Montoya, and Mable and Leonard Pecos; her brothers, Amadeo Sanchez, Higinio Sanchez, and Jimmy Sanchez; her godsons, Jesse Sisneros and Jose Ramirez; along with many beloved nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever treasure her memory.
Trinidad was a proud graduate of Albuquerque High School and earned her Bachelor's Degree in Business from the University of New Mexico. She valued education and carried her intelligence, determination, and strong faith throughout her life.
Above all else, Trinidad loved worshiping God and caring for her family. Her life was a reflection of compassion, generosity, and unwavering devotion to those she loved. She will always be remembered for her intelligence, her loving heart, her kindness, and her willingness to help others. Her gentle spirit and steadfast faith touched the lives of everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
Though our hearts are filled with sorrow, we find comfort in the beautiful memories she leaves behind and in the faith that she is now at peace in the presence of the Lord. Her love, wisdom, and legacy will continue to live on through her family and all whose lives she touched.
