Vera Hodges

Vera Hodges was born in Timpson, TX to Vestor Jennings and Florence Johnson.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Charlie and Florence King; four brothers; three sisters; and one son.

Vera is survived by her sons, Tommy, Terry, and Ken Hodges; her daughter, Gail Crayton;  her brothers, Wallace and Robert King; her grandchildren; great grandchildren; her great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; cousins; and other relatives.

Vera moved to Albuquerque in 1954 where she later began her career at Mountain Bell Communications, retiring after 19 years.  She was a faithful member of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church for close to 60 years.

Vera loved unconditionally.  She touched the lives of many!  She will forever be missed...  Thank God for the life of our Madea...
