Wyomie Watson

Wyomie Watson, age 78, died peacefully on Tuesday, October 20, 2020. Wyomie was born to Clarence and Melvira Solomon in 1942 in Fairfield, Texas. She was a cosmetologist in Albuquerque for over 46 years. In 1978 she married James Watson. They were married 42 years.

She is preceded in death by her father, Clarence Solomon; her mother, Melvira Solomon; three brothers, Johnnie, Clinton and Namon Jefferson; and one sister, Maggie Walker.

She is survived by her husband, James Watson; his children, Rickey Watson, and Denise Watson (Paul) Schmidt; Grandson, Tige (Cobi) Watson; and great-grandsons, Stone Watson and Jadin Watson.  She is also survived by her twin sister, Naomie (Joe) Mosley; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Viewing will be held on Thursday, October 29, 2020 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at Strong-Thorne Mortuary, 1100 Coal Ave SE.  A Homegoing Service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, October 30, 2020 also at Strong-Thorne Mortuary.
