Zachariah T. Garcia, beloved son, father, brother, and uncle, passed away on Monday, April 20, 2026, at the age of 45.

Born in Albuquerque, Zachariah was a proud graduate of Del Norte High School.

He is survived by his loving parents, Joe and Eva Garcia; his daughter, Amaya Garcia; his brother, Jeremiah Garcia and wife Amanda; his cherished niece, Willow Garcia; along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and extended family members.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Felix and Nolia Garcia, and Ascencion and Grace Torrez.

Zachariah will be remembered for his wit, sense of humor, lovable nature, and many talents. He was a gifted artist who worked in many mediums, including painting, sketching, etching, and airbrush. He carried his artistic touch into his work as a granite installer, ensuring every piece he set was just right.

Zachariah also loved country music and Spanish music, which brought him joy throughout his life.

Viewing will be held at Strong-Thorne Mortuary on Friday, May 1, 2026, from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m., with the Rosary beginning at 6:00 p.m. Following services, a reception will be held. Location to be announced.

He will be laid to rest at the Garcia private cemetery in northern New Mexico.

Zachariah’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
