Bennie Hargrove Obituary

Bennie Hargrove tragically died on the campus of Washington Middle School on August 13, 2021 at the age of 13.

Bennie is survived by his mother Collete Wise, father Bennie Hargrove Sr., his grandmother Vanessa Wise-Sawyer, his grandmother Eliza Hargrove, and his siblings Tyree Sewell, DeAndre Sewell, Amirah Woodard, Heaven Robins, Neveah Robins, Zaneya Alzubidi, Shadi Alzubidi.

Bennie was born on May 8, 2008 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.  Bennie attended Mission Avenue Elementary school and Washington Middle School. Bennie was in the 8th grade.  He enjoyed playing basketball and boxing.

Bennie was very athletic. He was a big brother who felt protective over his siblings. He also liked attending church with his grandmother on occasion.

A funeral is scheduled for September 4 at New City Church. New City is located at 4700 San Mateo Blvd. NW.  Pastor Nate Bush will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Bennie's life. Flowers can be sent to New City Church at 4700 San Mateo Blvd. NE.
