Filomeno "Filo" Carrillo (81) passed away on Wednesday, January 12th, 2022.Filo married his beloved wife Veronica (Ronnie) October 17th th 1959 and they were wed until her passing in 1999. Filo was born to Meliton and Adelaida Carrillo on June 21st, 1940, in Veguita, N.M. He graduated from Albuquerque High School in 1958. Filo worked as a driver for DPC Chemicals for 32 years, until his retirement in 2013.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Veronica; granddaughter, Erica Carrillo; his father and mother, Meliton and Adelaida Carrillo; brothers, Nelson, Dennis, Meliton Jr. and Paul Carrillo; sisters, Nelda, Marie, Lora, Sandra, Jaquelyn and Minerva.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory sons, Steven, Chris (Yolanda) and Clifton Carrillo; grandson, Daniel; great-grandchildren, Nathan and Layla; his beloved pets, B.B and Goldie; sisters, Eveyln Montano (Isidro), Alice Corley (Eddie), Terry Navarez (Jose) and a host of family members and friends.

A Visitation will take place from 6:00-7:00 pm, with Rosary to be recited on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at 7:00 at Strong Thorne Mortuary, 1100 Coal Ave. SE. A Mass will be held on Thursday, January 27, 2022  at 9:00 am at St. Anne's Catholic Church, 1400 Arenal Rd. SW. Interment to follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
