Frank Williams

August 10, 1938 — December 21, 2020

Frank Hazard Williams was born August 10, 1938 in Clarksville, Texas, to the parents of Wash and Eddie Mae Williams who preceded him in death.  He was the third child of five.  Frank was raised in Albuquerque, NM.  He accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Shiloh Baptist Church.  He attended Lincoln Junior High School and Albuquerque High School.  He then joined the United States Navy, where he served 4 years and received an honorable discharge. After this Frank joined his brothers in Los Angeles and worked at the airport.  As a very young man, Frank acknowledged his calling to gospel ministry where he served at Shiloh (his home church) and Baptist Neighborhood Fellowship. After some years in California he met and married Miss Kattie Page.  To this union was born one daughter Toni Rachelle Williams(Martin). After several years in California, the family left California and moved to Rosebud, Texas.  Here Frank tried his hand at Farming and sold his crops at the market in Dallas.  Franks next move was in Liberal Kansas where he stayed several years.  After several years in Liberal Frank returned to Albuquerque and the family home.  This is where he reunited Shiloh his home church.  He then married Rosie Jennings.   Frank found a love in driving semi-trucks where he happily traveled all over the country.  He attended Technical Vocational Institute (TVI) where he received a license for Diesel Mechanics.  He went on to work for City of Albuquerque as a mechanic for their buses and diesel trucks.  After he retired from the City of Albuquerque he started to drive buses for the local schools.  Frank was preceded in death by his parents, his oldest brother Wash Williams and younger brother Lee Williams.  Frank is survived by his only child Toni Martin of Alexandria, Louisiana.  His older sister Ethel Thompson and younger sister Josie Williams.  His granddaughter Mackenzie Martin.  Nephews Robbie Worthy, Michael Beard, Emmett Thompson, Levester Williams and Corley Ayers.  Nieces, Patricia Cooper, Christine Kendrick, Felicia Williams and a host of relatives and friends.
