General Taylor Holman (G.T.) was born February 1,1939 to G.T. and Crystal Holman in Kansas City Missouri. G.T. was one of four children, Vera Ocrey, George Holman, and Lorraine Lockett.
All those who met G.T. will tell you the most distinct thing about him was his sense of humor. Most times you couldn’t tell if he was joking or not, right on to the end.
G.T. joined the military around 1956 and committed four years of his life to serving his country. He and his family moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico 1969.
G.T. is survived by his spouse, Laurene Holman, two children, Andre Holman and G.T. Holman III. Georgia Williams preceded him in death. He had seven grandchildren, DaLeah Morris , C. J. Williams, Andrea Janga, Kim Holman, Andre Holman Jr., Garrison Holman and Estelle Tafoya; nine great-grandchildren, Cortez Morris, I’Taunna Anderson, Nicholas Abrego, Aunesti McNeely, Harmony Wenze, Malakai Brown-Holman, Mia Wenze, Adonis Holman, Ali Holman, Nehemiah Morrison, as well as countless beloved nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, father, sister and daughter.
