Harvest was preceded in death by his mother Leola York, father Moses York Sr, sister Catherine York-Pearson, brother Woodrow Wilson, aunt Lola B Giles, aunt Caroline Wright, step-mother Verna May Jackson-York, brother-in-law Curtis Carr, and brother-in-law Patrick Jackson.

His grandchildren Jazmine Carter (Elijah), Christopher Ralph (LeeShee), Mathew Ralph, Kamaria Williams, Simone Truehill (Xeryus), Tineisha York, Naomi Samuels, Javain Bisetti-York, Anthony Bisetti-York, Mahalia Samuels, Tajameia York Jr., Raven Browder, Channing Moss, Jace Garcia-York, and Madison Moss. 7 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Harvest was a hardworking man and a proud business owner for over 40 years. He enjoyed fishing, bowling, dominoes, grilling, going to the casino, and spending time with his family. He was one of the most giving people you could ever meet and was always willing to help those in need. He was a loving dad, brother, uncle, and a loyal friend who cared about his family deeply.
