Ruth Ballou

Age 88, passed away, Sunday December 6, 2020.  She was born in Texarkana Arkansas, to the parents of Woodrow & Willie Mae Rhodes.

She attended high school at Charlton Pallard High School.  She married Jesse Ballou in Beaumont Texas, in 1952.  They remained faithful and loving until her death.  To there union they had two children, Hilda and Greg.  She leaves to cherish her relatives and leaves many memories.

She was a long time member of Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church, where she served as Senior Usher president for many of years.  Whenever you went to Mt. Olive,  you would always see Ruth Ballou in her post at the door.

She was very active in many other church and civic activities and clubs.

Visitation services will be held Thursday December 17, 2020

9:00 am – 10:00 am

Funeral Services will start at

10:00 am

Both services will be held at Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church, 2401 University Blvd SE

Private Interment will be at Santa Fe National Cemetery following the service.
